1) DEA/Diethanolamine : when it mixed with other harmful chemicals creates NDEA which are carcinogens (causes cancer) in stomach, esophagus, liver and bladder.
2) DMDM Hydantoin : can cause allergies and skin sensitivity.
3) Parabens : they are potential carcinogens for breast cancer which
-used as preservatives.
-other names are butylparaben, methylparaben, and propylparaben.
4) PEG's : used in anti-freeze, paint, brake fluid, airplane de-icer and of course many personal care products!!!
-causes dermatitis, liver and kidney damage,cell membrane damage
-other names are Propylene Glycol (PG) and Polyethylene glycol (PEG)
5) SLS (Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate): used in cleaning greases,found in air crafts,car washing products and some shampoos and facewashes!!
-these are potential carcinogens..
-other names are Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Ammonium Xylene Sulfonate, or TEA Lauryl Sulfate
6) Sulfur : used in dandruff shampoos
-carcinogens!!
7) Selenium Sulfide : used in dandruff shampoos)
