Biore UV Dailt Care Gel SPF 25 PA++

Biore UV Daily Care Gel SPF 25 PA++

Biore UV Daily Care Gel SPF 25 PA++

wake up !!don't sleep already..
.........ive just started :p

My take on Biore UV Daily Care Gel SPF 25PA++
1) its a SPF 25 PA ++ sunblock..efficient enough to prevent sun related damage, the descriptipn says..but u need to use in generous amount
2) unlike the SPF 50 one that i reviewed  in my prev post, it comes in a minty green bottle with click-cap...though i prefer tapered end mouth but this doesn't trouble either
3) super thin, runny in consistency..thinner than the perfect milk spf 50
4) blends right away..absorbs super fast..within few 3s !! (faster than the perfect milk spf 50)
5) unlike the perfect milk it leaves a soothing cooling sensation on skin.
6) no trace of any white cast, non-sticky n non-greasy..n absolutely lightweight (beats the perfect milk 3 times i would say)..feels like nothing at all with a gentle cooling sensation..feels like air...skin doesn't oil up in 2 hours minimum...how gorgeous is that !!
7) skin feels refreshing, smooth n moist (thanks to its aloevera content)..im not sure about mattifying effect..but skin looks natural
8) leaves very mild fresh scent on skin..though in bottle there is a clear smell of alcohol...
9) u can put make up over it easily..not sure about primer claim though
10) it says its water proof..not sue but i think it is

Biore UV Daily Care Gel SPF 25 PA++

Biore UV Daily Care Gel SPF 25 PA++

11) ingred list shows no paraben..its definitely alcohol based..smell makes it clearer
12) 140 ml retails at 12$ i guess..not sure
13) no english on the back..looks like u need to learn japanese to get it all or get an aunt who knows japanese like mine :p

tips and direction to use:
1) shake well before use
2) it alcohol based..so i wont recommend this to dry skin people..but if u really want to use it ,moisturise your skin first...
3) this is heavenly for oily skin peeps..though i personally wont use it on a daily basis..i use it on extremely hot humid days
4) i dont wear it more than 4 hours..despite its claim of being long wear sunblock..its just i like to splash water on my face in every 4-6 hours
5) clean skin properly after coming home back even though skin feels fresh..this way u wont get clogged pores n break outs..
6) just FYI, dermatologists say no matter how efficient your sunscreen use dont stay in the sun for long

looks like it beats even my fav Biore Perfect Milk SPF 5+ PA++ in almost every sector (except its spf is lower n it has mild alcohol scent..thats why for daily use i prefer the BPMspf 50 n switch to neutrogena at times)....

summing it up:
this is a product for make-up wearers n for really oily skin peeps who are afraid of any thing greasy n sticky..wants to look natural even after layering this on

thanks to my mum for hooking me up with this..mummy the best she is..much love :)

Biore UV Perfect Milk SPF 50+ PA+++

there goes my most fav. sunscreen ..FYI, my skin is very oily..in winter it behaves fab..but in summer its really tough for me to find skin care products that wont add to the heat's nuisance, wont clog my pores n wont let my skin sweat..even that suits normal oily skin gives me hard times.....so is my find over with this??....to know keep reading :)

Biore UV Perfect Milk SPF 50+ PA+++

About Biore:
I love the buttery smooth skin Japanese people have so i love Japanese beauty products! Their beauty products quality are really awsome, whether drugstore or high ends..this "Biore" brand is like a drugstore gem..thanks to my mum..she actually found this while her stay in Japan..truely mother knows the best!! ( rapunzel)

Biore UV products:
1) Biore Perfect Face Milk for matte finish in a white bottle,
2) Bright Face Milk that gives instant brightening effect in a pink bottle
3) Moist Face Milk for more moisturizing in purple bottle
4) Biore UV Perfect Milk SPF 50 + PA+++
5) Biore UV Daily Care gel SPF 25 PA++

I have no 4 & 5

my take on Biore UV Perfect Milk SPF 50 + PA+++
1) high efficacy: has SPF 50+ PA+++ means protection against both uv-A & uv-B rays..a major plus is it contains zinc oxide too which is a physical sunblock agent...what other guarantees do u need from a sunblock!! simply awesome
2) its watery n blending is so easy, absorbs instantly
3) after blending it feels like u haven't used anything.. its sooo light weight, the second most in my stash i would say (not more than the no:5)..u can use powder on top of it..face powders dont look caky on top of it
4) provides moisture to skin (ingred says it has aloevera extract) no wonder y skin feels so smooth n glowy with this on..
5) leaves no trace of white casts like most sunblocks..non-greasy n  non-sticky formula
6) i can wear it for 2 hours min without any trace of sweats n enlarged pores on my cheeks unlike most of the sunnblocks..looks like it doesn't contribute to the heat factor at all..also my face doesn't oil up in 2 hours
7) it claims to act like a primer not sure about that
8) it says it has mattifying property..not sure about that too
9) u can use it on both face n body
10) costs approximately 12$
11) also ingred list doesn't show paraben..guess how happy i am :)

Biore Perfect Milk SPF 50+ PA+++ swatches

what pains:
-everything includig direction , ingreds all are written in Japanese..fortunately one of my my aunt knows Japanese..she helped me with this
-ive been using it for a while not knowing the fact that it is alcohol-based..if u dont use alcohol based stuffs u sould think twice before using this..i use neutrogena at times..then keep coming nack to this
-not av in BD

Biore Perfect Milk SPF 50+ PA +++ back

Tips:
-shake the bottle before dispensing product
-even though its light on skin make sure u clean your face properly..this will prevent clogging up of pores and break outs
-though the packet says it is water proof n has long lasting effects..i wont encourage to wear it more than 6      hours

Summing it up: I love this lightweight sunscreen..IMO it would be great for oil slicks like me. it didn't contribute to the fact that my face is oily. if you are looking for a sunscreen in a non sticky formula, very light, has runny in consistency, absorbs easily, dries right away, not worried about alcohol-based products, then this one is for you..
lots of love..

Alcohol in skin care products- myths and facts

Alcohol-whats the controversy all about :
all too often people refuse to buy products with alcohol content..but did you know the astringents oily skin people use has varying amount of alcohol in it..then should we stop using astringents??
read on and find out--

Who should use alcohol:
not dry skin as it can be drying..oily skin people can use alcohol

Safe alcohol to look for in products:
"not all alcohol are drying and irritating" says DR.Audrey, board certified dermatologist and the founder of dermadoctor.com
5"c"-alcohols (cetyl, cetaryl, cetostearyl, cetyl alcohol 40, c12-15..all the c-alcohols are derived from coconut..so people with coconut allergy should avoid c-alcohol), Steer-alcohol (stearyl), L-alcohol (lanolin)
these are used as emulsifiers, thickening and stabilizing agents allowing skin care products to have silky-smooth formulations..S & L-alcohol provides additional moisture
but don't use high concentration alcohol daily..astringents should not be used daily..same goes with other products like sunscreen

Then why this poor reputation ??
-bad stuffs are regarding chronic alcohol drinking or abusing
chronic alcohol consumption (drinking) dialates capillary blood vesssels and gives your face flushed look..more aggressive cases presentwith rosaca with broken capillaries
-again chronic alcohol drinking reduces vit-A absorption from food..reduced vit-A concentration in body means less antioxidants and less antioxidants causes pre-mature aging

The bottom line is:
don't be scared of using skin care regime with low-concentration alcohol (following the guideline above of course ) but be fearful of excess alcohol content in your glass..stay safe dolls :)

sunscreen facts

oily or dry whatever your skin type, summer or winter whatever the season is, you need protection against both UV-a & UV-b rays..
y ??

UVradiation, from sun is a known carcinogen, can have a number of harmful effects on the
skin from photo-sensitivity, premature aging to ulceration and cancer...uv-c ray however mostly gets absorbed by ozone layer..

SPF facts:
you should use sunscreen with atleast SPF-15..
SPF of 30 doesn't mean that its twice as protective as an SPF of 15; rather,
when properly used, an SPF of 15 protects the skin from 93 percent of UVB
radiation, and an SPF 30 sunscreen provides 97 percent protection

Although the SPF ratings found on sunscreen packages apply mainly to UVB rays, many
sunscreen manufacturers include ingredients that protect the skin from some UVA rays as
well. These “broad-spectrum” sunscreens are highly recommended.
look for PA +'s label..it gives UV-A protection..the more +'s the more your sunscreen is protective against UV-A

Sunscreen active ingredients and controversies:

oily skin : water or alcohol based sunscreens both works
dry skin: water based..alcohol can be drying

Alcohol:
alcohol in skin care products has some myths..know the facts-
use alcohol in low concentration..daily use of high concentration alcohol is not recommended
safe alcohols: 5"c"-alcohols (cetyl, cetaryl, cetostearyl, cetyl alcohol 40, c12-15.....all the c alcohols are derived from coconut,so people with coconut allergy should avoid c alcohol ), Steer-alcohol (stearyl), L-alcohol (lanolin)
these are not drying n irritating, yet moisturising n gives skin smooth apperarance

Is Sunscreen enough for sun protection?
no..most sunscreen provide good uv-B protection, not uv-A despite SPF level..taking extra precaution before going out doesnt hurt !
1) use generous amount of sunscreen product
2) wear protective clothing
3) seek shade, use sunglass and umbrella
4) get adequate dietary support of vit-A & D
